Paul Malek of Transit Dance is a highly regarded director, choreographer and educator. Trained in ballet and contemporary at VCA Secondary School, his performing career saw him tour the world through 5 continents as dancer, dance captain, rehearsal director and company manager. His TV credits include Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance. Paul has been the choreographic brains of well over 100 corporate events, award ceremonies, commercials, music videos and more.

Cassie Bartho is a dynamic dancer and choreographer from Sydney and Head of Performance Training Program Brent Street. Cassie has performed for Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, Sam Smith, Ricky Martin, Jessie J, Kylie & Danni Minogue, PNAU, Havana Brown, X-Factor, The Voice, Australia’s Got Talent and more. She was resident choreographer of ‘The Masked Singer’ (Season 2) and has choregraphed for Optus, Mugler, Harvey Norman, The Star Casino, Luke Antony, NuSkin, Channel 7, Westpac and the ABC.
TREVOR SANTOS GROOVES & MOVES
Trevor Santos is a Melbourne born and raised dance artist who is currently starring in ‘Jagged Little Pill’. Trevor has performed in live stadiums, theatres, music videos and TV. He recently enjoyed an interstate tour and a season at Her Majesty’s Theatre with ‘Matador The Show’, shooting for Lee Jeans Australia’s and presenting his solo work ‘100 Haikus’. Trevor has worked alongside Guy Sebastian, Missy Higgins, Hayden Calnin, Sheppard, Kira Piru, Dual Manner and Hangeng, and has taught all across Aus as well as in New York, Beijing and Malaysia.

Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes are the directors of renowned SCIMM Dance Company. Scimm has been a staple in the Melbourne dance scene for the past 9yrs, producing outstanding contemporary dance works with a unique style of fusing classical-based contemporary with modern themes and a commercial edge. Scott and Tim have worked extensively as dancers, choreographers and teachers both in Aus and abroad.

Nadia Tornese is a sort after choreographer, instructor & creative. TV credits include The Wrong Girl, Neighbours, TV Week Logie Awards - Meghan Trainor (Assit. Choreographer). JARRYD BYRNE LATIN
Jarryd Byrne is trained in Latin American, Ballroom, Salsa and Hip Hop and has competed nationally and internationally winning comps such as the Singapore International and East Coast Classic. He performed across the US with Burn The Floor before starring in Dancing with the Stars, where has been a dynamic partner for many seasons and won the coveted Mirrorball Trophy with Celia Pacquola, 2020. Jarryd toured Aus in Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom.
ALEC STEELO HOUSE
Alec Steelo is a Filipino-Australian dancer/choreographer specialising in House and Hip-Hop. He began at 8 through Breaking and Filipino Folk Dances and is now one of the prominent House Dance educators in Melbourne. He has won or placed in several battles such as City Sessions 2021 + 2022 as back-to-back House Champion, ‘Signal Summer Cypher’ Champion, ‘House Party’ Runner-Up, etc. His teaching is influenced by his interactions working commercially and venturing into contemporary dance after completing Dancehouse’s Emerging Choreographers Program 2021.

TIM PODESTA BALLET
Tim Podesta graduated from The Australian Ballet School and danced internationally, performing roles by leading choreographers who inspired him to explore choreography and start his own company, Projection Dance. Projection Dance is the creative force from which Podesta articulates his style of physical vocabulary, shifting from classical to modern, for companies such as Queensland Ballet to gala performances for international stars from the Royal Ballet.

Nadiah NfuZion is an internationally recognised freelance dancer, educator and choreographer specialising in Dancehall. She is a member of global Dancehall collective, DANCA FAMILY; Paris based house and all styles dance crew, Paradox-sal; and Via Vyndal Pantsulas from Johannesburg. Nadiah has shared her electrifying energy in over 30 countries. Sophie Holloway hit the industry at 16, featuring in TV shows and commercials before starring in Baz Lurhmann’s The Great Gatsby. In 2014 Sophie joined the renowned “Radio City Rockettes” in New York. Her 7 years with the company has included over 600 performances, The Tony Awards, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and more. In Aus Sophie’s credits include, Katy Perry, Cher, Opera Australia, Dance Academy, The Wiggles, Bonnie Lythgoe Productions, The Voice, Australia’s Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars and more.

Lucy Doherty is a beloved dance artist and director of Sydney's One Dance Collective. Lucy has had a string of projects in TV, film and stages around the world, from working with Aus dance companies (inc. Dream Dance Company & Stephanie Lake Company) to chart-topping Australian pop stars (inc. Ruel, Courtney Act & George Maple). Her dance films have been screened and celebrated internationally, including at Lincoln Centre, NYC.

Adrian Ricks, Director of Dance at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance Full Time, studied at Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School before starring in CATS South Korea, World Tour, Asian Tour and Australia Tour and dancing for Tokyo Disney Sea and Royal Caribbean. He created and performed Release at Gasworks 2011 and SINS at Theatre Works St Kilda 2013. In 2014 Adrian won Victoria’s Favourite Male Dancer at Victorian Dance Awards. Choreographic credits include: SYTYCD, The Footy Show Players Revue, Victoria Racing Club, Melbourne Cup, White Night, AFL Preliminary Finals, Twisted Broadway, Porsche Showroom Launch, Jaguar Launch and more.

Todd Patrick has worked all over the world as a dancer, choreographer and creative director. He is the founder of Patrick School of the Arts. Todd began his career with Walt Disney Studios before dancing across Europe and Asia with the Lido (Paris), Royal Palace Strasbourg, W hotel South Korea and Jupiter's Casino. Todd has worked with Crown Melbourne, Star City, Vanessa Amorosi, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Zoe Badwi, Kate Cebreano, Dannii Minogue, MAC Cosmetics, Christian Dior, Versace and more.

Amanda Stone is a choreographer, director, producer, dancer and teacher. Elysia Baker is the current Australian Salsa Champion with dance partner Carlos Veron and ranked 2nd in the world in the professional Cha Cha at the World Salsa Summit, USA 2018. She is an internationally recognised Latin dancer, competitor, judge, coach and owner of Melbourne dance school La Encantada, ELLA Dance Retreat and director of Rumbia Festival of Latin Dance. A former ballet dancer, Elysia transitioned into the Salsa industry over 10 years ago and is now one of the industry’s most respected artists. Her dance travel lifestyle gives her fresh insight into the ever-evolving world of dance, which she brings back to infuse into her own teaching and training.

Juliette Barton is an industry specialist in contemporary dance. She has worked with choreographers Rafael Bonachela, Alexander Ekman, Jacopo Godani, Emanuel Gat, Russell Maliphant, Andonis Foniadakis, Gideon Obarzanek, Gabrielle Nankivell, Adam Linder and Keneth Kvanstrom and performed across Australia, New York, London, Germany, France, Russia, China, Korea, Columbia, Brazil, and Chile. Juliette has created works for Sydney Dance Company and the Art Gallery NSW and taught for professional companies Sydney Dance Company, Chunky Move and Bangarra, as well as training institutions WAAPA, VCA, Transit Dance, National College of Dance, and across all of Sydney Dance Co's pre-professional training programs. Recently Juliette was Rehearsal Associate at Sydney Dance Co during rehearsal and performance of Ohad Naharin’s Decadance and is currently in the role of Training Associate for Sydney Dance Co’s PPY.

Having danced with Madonna overseas, she has continued to skill develop thousands of dancers and is known for the running and creation of dance crew comps, Step Off and Heavyweight Dance Competition.

Omer Backley-Astrachan is an Israeli choreographer, dancer and educator who has worked extensively with Kamea Dance Co, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Co, Idan Cohen Dance Co, Jerusalem Dance Theatre and Jerusalem Ballet. His choreographic works have toured nationally and internationally. Omer is Sydney Dance Company's Advanced Training Coordinator. His techniques encourage movers to establish a deeper and freer approach to dance.

TV & commercial work has included Tooheys New Street Party, KFC Fresh Taste Best, Nicorette, So You Think You Can Dance, Home and Away, Popstars and more. Performance credits include Chicago, Oliver!, West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Hot Shoe Shuffle, Baz Luhrman's Moulin Rouge. He has choreographed the national tour of Heathers the musical, High Society, The Fantasticks , Mack & Mabel, Big Fish, Brigadoon, Calamity Jane, High Fidelity, Gypsy & more.

Cat Santos is one of Sydney’s most passionate dancers and choreographers. Holding a Cert IV in Dance from Brent Street, Cat has appeared on the X Factor AU, The Voice Australia, Australia’s Got Talent and Dance Academy, and has performed with Artists such as Nick Jonas, Ricky Martin, Dannii Minogue, Havana Brown, Flo Rida, Timomatic and Delta Goodrem. In 2012 Cat worked with Kelley Abbey as part of the cast of Opera Australia’s Carmen on Sydney Harbour. That same year she joined Tannos + Choice (produced by Marko Panzic) where she assisted choreographer Stephen Tannos. Cat assisted Tannos throughout the 2014 season of So You Think You Can Dance. Cat has assisted many leading choreographers including Matt Lee, Marko Panzic, and The Squared Division. Cat has been seen on stage as part of The Dream Dance Company and her work has won many industry awards. She is in high demand as a choreographer, working on huge corporate events for Westpac, MG, Stockland and The Victor Chang Heart Foundation Ball.

Ben Scarmozzino began his career in the Entertainment Industry as a performer. Some of his credits include Dubai’s World Expo (2021/22), Bring It On The Musical: Australian Tour 2019, and working alongside artists such as Tones and I, Casey Donovan, Justice Crew, Sheppard, Peking Duk, and Guy Sebastian. Since then, he has dipped his feet into the world of choreography, working with some of Australia’s best performers in music videos, on corporate events and theatrical shows. Using the experience he has gained in the industry, he provides dancers with the tools and knowledge that will serve them well in their own professional careers, and strives to maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment for students.
