What are you most excited about for VDF 23?

"I’m excited to share my practice with the next generation of dancers from all across Victoria!

VDF brings some amazing choreographers, dance educators and creatives together, and I'm looking forward to being in such an inspiring community environment."  Why is it so important that dancers get together and share their love of dance?

"The ability to connect, share and build community in real spaces is so vital to our industry. The pandemic showed us that dance doesn't like existing in a bubble.

Experiencing each others passion, sweat and energy in a shared space lifts everyone up, and we grow as artists together."

What advice do you have for dancers as they prepare for the VDF weekend? "New studio environments and new teachers can sometimes be overwhelming. Use that nervous energy and turn it into an excited and focused work ethic.

Come to VDF with an open mind and a full heart for learning and sharing your passion for dance."
