Sela Vai, a renowned Tongan-Australian choreographer, is celebrated worldwide for her distinctive choreography and empowering presence. With an impressive portfolio of clients and credits, including Apple, Samsung, Hydralyte, The Iconic, MECCA, CADA, Paspaley, Suncorp, the A-League, Thelma Plum, Ngaiire, No Mono, Milan Ring, BloodMoon, and more, Sela has left an indelible mark in the industry.
Sela's works have graced some of the most prestigious platforms, including the Art Gallery of NSW, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, the Australian Museum, the Australian Centre for Moving Image, and was recently commissioned by the Powerhouse Museum. As of 2024 Sela is Tones and I's Creative Director and Choreographer for the AUS/NZ Tour and international shows.
Outside of the studio Sela recently presented at TED X Sydney, demonstrating her expertise and the transformative power of movement. As the founder of HUMXN, her passion for creativity and innovation continues to inspire and empower others.
