Bio

Arna Singleton is a Melbourne-based Pilates instructor, movement educator and creative director whose career spans professional dance, choreography and performance. With decades of experience in the movement industry, Arna brings a unique blend of athletic precision, artistic expression and deep body awareness to her work.

Originally establishing her reputation as a highly sought-after hip hop and street dance choreographer and performer, Arna’s career highlights include being selected to dance with Madonna in Toronto following an international audition process. Her dance credits include appearances across major television and commercial platforms such as So You Think You Can Dance, Australia’s Got Talent, Everybody Dance Now, The Good Friday Appeal, and campaigns for brands including MYER and Lipton Tea.

Alongside her performance career, Arna has been dedicated to developing the next generation of dancers and movement artists. She founded The Legacy & Co in 2018, creating an inclusive and inspiring training environment for dancers, and her choreography has been presented at festivals and competitions across Australia. Her crews have received national recognition, including representing Team Australia at the Hip Hop International World Championships in Phoenix, Arizona.

As her career in movement continued to evolve, Arna naturally expanded into the Pilates space, where she now teaches both mat and reformer Pilates across Melbourne. Drawing from her extensive background in dance, performance and coaching, her classes are known for combining strength, control, musicality and intelligent movement sequencing.

Arna has recently launched Method by Muse, her Pilates and movement brand centred around the philosophy that every individual has the ability to become their own source of inspiration. Method by Muse is built on the belief that strength, self-awareness and confidence are cultivated through movement, encouraging people to embody their own power both inside and outside the studio.

Through Pilates, choreography and movement education, Arna continues to empower people to reconnect with their bodies, move with intention and discover their own inner muse.
