Launching in 2026, the VDF Associates Program is designed to support the next generation of dance professionals as they take the step from training into the industry.

This program offers hands-on exposure to multiple facets of the professional dance world, including assisting, production, teaching, and creative development—providing real insight into how careers are built beyond the studio.

​

Associates will have the opportunity to assist instructors on stage at VDF 2026, participate in small-group discussions with leading choreographers, and be involved in the production elements of VDF, including the IGNITE performance and SPARK production piece. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, gain career guidance from industry-leading professionals, and feature across VDF media platforms.
